Writing the book is slowly coming to an end. As of today, there are 43 chapters (including 38 translated into English). Only 6 chapters remain to be completed. The publication will most likely contain about 49 chapters.

After a long break I come back with information on what stage my publication is at this moment. At this point I have 27 chapters translated, the next 6 are waiting for my translation. I am still working on 17 others. The book already has 280 pages of text alone. Also book got new artist who is currently working on new illustrations for selected individual pages. Now I have about 40 drawings specially prepared for individual pages. This book will be a monster. Metal Never Bends

I have translated 14 chapters,  4 waiting for translation and 23 what I am actually right now working on. I have in plans start on another several.  Book getting shape...
Also got few cool   artwork specially painted for my publication.

Week ago I did last interview for my book which was  Eric Czepek drummer of SCEPTER.
I finished another chapter and is waiting now for translation.
More up dates soon.

As news  I got quotes few new people who share stories about ancient Chicago Metal Scene... it's another cool memories from two last decades of XX century. I am sure some information include in this publication bring some knowledge, facts, unwritten legends and of course controversy. This book unveil a lot view on our great local scene unique hidden spots. This is about texts included here...
Also I am planning  used art work of local artists which now it will be little surprise for  those maniacs who get chance in the future read this publication.

I would say book get closer to  finish. Be patient!!!

Finishing book part II

Still a lot working on writing my texts. Also I am editing my texts with people quotes making 4 new  chapters... I have already done 4 which is waiting for translations and one of them I sent to my buddy who is translating.
For today I have finished 5 chapters and soon start working on pages layout...

Metal Never Bends!!!

Finishing book part I

    Beginning of 2018 I finished first chapter for my book. Chapter is translated on English, and also corrected, includes 17 pages of texts interviewed people and my writing. Now I am waiting for artwork.
    Another 8 chapters waiting for translation. I am also working on more.

  Few days ago my buddy Jim Bresnahan wrote for this publication another story which this is about his first time he was member of Cianide that was in 1989. Of course not too many people know Jim was involved being in Cianide long time ago which was almost when that band start playing. This not too long very  funny story.

  Last 3 months I was working on my introductions or other texts. I wrote around another 50 - 60 new pages by last few months. I got also some quotes from people which I didn't expect got form them.
   Look like I will finish this book in 2017!

Mark Kadzielawa - Thornado'zine 1987 - 90... and other magazines.

     Tonight I met my Polish buddy Mark Kadzielawa who wrote so many interviews, review and articles about music from Chicago and bands around the world. He is involved in writing almost 30 years. W were correcting his firs interview which did for me 4 years ago. We also did some new quotes and his  interview is rich in information about Chicago Scene.  I just finished few new texts for this part of the book.

    Last few months I didn't put any information about what is going on with my publication. I am still working on writing my part of book and checking again transcribed interviews.  
    Month ago I got very cool quotes form King Foley (Deceased/October31) about Chicago Scene and that is part of chapter "People not from Chicago talking about Windy City Scene".

I am still working on my part of texts for this publication. Lately I was writing for Funeral Nation chapter which is done in 90%. Now also still working on "Chicago Zines" part and Few other chapters. Book is growing up...

Shaun Glass - Terminal Death, Sindrome

I just finished interview Shaun Glass from Terminal Death and Sindrome... I got new information  about that bands.

In plans I will do couple more  interviews with two other people and I am closing that part of work on my book.

Chapter  "Zines from Chicago" is in 80% done!!! Includes  now 18 titles and 30 issues...

Chicago Fanzines

My buddy Sam Tocci few weeks ago gave  some zines from Chicago area. I am working now on the.chapter which is about  zines from Chicago and this is half way done. There will be information about 20 underground magazines.

Sam is person who also helping me with texts corrections other things for my publication...

Marcus Kolar - SARCOPHAGUS - Part 2

Yesterday I was hanging out with Marcus and we were working on his old interview which I did back  August 08 2012. We corrected most of things there beside that we did couple another chapters for that view. Right now information about Sarcophagus has around 17 pages and that will be more.

Chaz Baker - Abomination / Funeral Bitch / Funeral Nation

Last evening I was working with Chaz Baker no more information about bands he was/is member.  That was second meeting with Chaz together we did for this publication. I got already  lot material about old Abomination and Funeral Nation... I got some when he played in Funeral Bitch.
I am sure for  a lot metal maniacs and fans of Chicago metal scene that information will be very rare...

Last breath of 2015...

After few months stagnation I decided today start again working on my publication... Just last day before end of year 2015.  That break took me little too long than I expected but always is good to take time off from work. Not really... Like I said progress starts again. Today I wrote few new texts and checked couple old transcribed interviews. Next year 2016 will bring more harvest!

Also here is another art  made exclusively by Eva Flora for needs this growing book. Drawing is few months old but still fresh...
