Last breath of 2014

Last  few hours of 2014 I am transcribing interview with Brad Buldak about his band Morgue and Grimm Death'zine which we was providing back in late 80's...  This interview is full awesome information about local scene.

Also in  December I wrote some new texts for this publication. I think it's 14 new pages they will include in book as  new chapter  the title "Fanzines around the world about Chicago scene".

Beginning of December I got from Mark Weglarz written by him story about his music store call Metal Haven. Little before that I wrote my text about Metal Haven when I went there first time with my friend. That was in November 1999 which was few months after Mark opened this store with tones of  treasures... By 11 years of existing  Metal Haven in Chicago I spent a lot times there and tones  money...  Store died in may 2010...

That's cool because even not two hours before ending of 2014 my buddy Mariusz Radzik sent me his text which he wrote for this publication about the time when he was living in Chicago. He titled this "Forever Underground, Chicago Metal Years".

Finally I am working on my texts for this publication. The texts include information which I got from zines or people who wasn't interviewing but just talk with them about Chicago scene.

In early 90's in WARG Radio Robert Campos provided metal audition, this sketch is designed by Robert for my publication... Like I said before he is working on more art like that for my book... I just got couple other painting but I publish maybe next time...

Brad Buldak - Grimm Death'zine/Records, Crematorium, Morgue...

I just came beck with a trip from Joliet where   interviewed Brad Buldak man who run few things involved in Chicago Metal Scene. He played in two bands like Crematorium and Morgue. With Morgue he recorded  two demos  and  full-length that was in early 90's.... Before that he did few issues of fan zine called Grimm Death and also together with Ken Escobedo started label named the same as his fanzine...
