Ted Van Tilburg - Morgue

Few hours ago I got chance do interview with other member of Morgue...  Ted Van Tilburg was first drummer of Morgue and recorded with this band materials like;
"Random Decay" Demo 1991
"Severe Psychopathology" demo 1992
and half material which was recorded and  released on "Eroded Thoughts" LP...

Medusa

Last night I went to see show band called Medusa which they played at Cobra lounge. Band started at early 70's and  people describe their  music style as Psychedelic Rock, Proto-Metal, Occult Rock... They never released more than one 7", played few shows in local clubs and in middle 70's band disappeared. 
Yesterday before show I got chance interview three Medusa's member for my book.    
Thanks Donna Fields Brown (Keyboards and Vocals), Gary Brown (Lead Guitar) and Peter Basaraba (Vocals) for giving me your time guys before show and a lot priceless information.

Jeff Kabella - Cianide

Cianide Kills!!!

Today afternoon I got cool meeting with Jeff Kabella who said me some stories about Cianide when he was band member in 1991 - 95. Jeff was drummer for Cianide during  two first albums which were
"The Dying Truth"
"A Descent Into Hell"
and third demo
"Cianide Kills".
Also he played a lot good gigs  in Chicago clubs with this band.

During this interview with us was also Mike Perun, Scott Carroll, Jim Bresnahan and Cheyenne...

Last breath of 2014

Last  few hours of 2014 I am transcribing interview with Brad Buldak about his band Morgue and Grimm Death'zine which we was providing back in late 80's...  This interview is full awesome information about local scene.

Also in  December I wrote some new texts for this publication. I think it's 14 new pages they will include in book as  new chapter  the title "Fanzines around the world about Chicago scene".

Beginning of December I got from Mark Weglarz written by him story about his music store call Metal Haven. Little before that I wrote my text about Metal Haven when I went there first time with my friend. That was in November 1999 which was few months after Mark opened this store with tones of  treasures... By 11 years of existing  Metal Haven in Chicago I spent a lot times there and tones  money...  Store died in may 2010...

That's cool because even not two hours before ending of 2014 my buddy Mariusz Radzik sent me his text which he wrote for this publication about the time when he was living in Chicago. He titled this "Forever Underground, Chicago Metal Years".
